It was clean, and I liked lovely staff and location.

The bed in my room was very uncomfortable.

Clean and efficient place. Its location was central, walking distance to Saint Helen's Square. A good restaurant available in the hotel.

The room was brand-new with lovely views and had an electronic key card, a work desk and a seating area. The restaurant was great, I tried amazing dishes.

The area was really busy.

Stayed here before, really enjoyed staff and location. Everything was wonderful as expected, nevertheless the bathroom was quite small. Plenty of food available in the bar. We were there for 1 night, overall had a fantastic stay.

Everything was simply amazing. Perfect staff and location - they offered a really nice stay at this quirky and very friendly and efficient hotel. The main bar was great, loved this place.

Very good staff and food, I had a great stay. Fairly good room, exceptionally comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Also, I enjoyed how best possible the location was. Found in a lovely area next to all the attractions in-and-around the city, beer garden;))

The venue is quaint, fairly clean and the location is unbeatable just next door to the beer garden, restaurants and the centre.

I would recommend this fabulous property. The place was clean, I enjoyed its staff and rooms.

I want to say thanks for an excellent experience, would come here again. Optimal location, perfect food, extremely helpful staff. The units are heated, rather basic.

We do enjoyed it because of location and staff. Quiet bedroom, incredibly large bed. Sea view was panoramic and balcony was large. Furthermore, the area was interesting. It was a pleasant overnight time staying at this sparkling hotel.

Second to none staff and location, very quick check-in. I liked the wonderful area around the hotel. The beach nearby was nice and the view was priceless. The bed was lovely and it was great having coffee, climate control and two windows. Bacon and eggs were served in the restaurant. The pool was incredible, good after a tiring day.

I enjoyed the details, like staff and rooms, they were fab! And it also had absolutely fabulous view. Politeness of hotel staff. The pool was good and the garden - nice.

Room was authentic, the bed was comfortable, breakfast was SUPER.

Large beds, climate control and hairdryer were a nice touch. The staff did all they can for a fine stay. Wonderful hotel with accommodating service.

It's brilliant base for sightseeing and exploring York.

That telephone was missing. Communication was challenging, wifi didn't work. In a hotel like this - bad smell is unacceptable.

Magnificent location; friendly staff. Really enjoyed that there was Drakes Fisheries with short-orders minutes from the venue, super convenient...

hotel's next to main attractions like jorvik viking centre. we appreciated staff and location.
